Buried Beneath Vault is built on open-source software. These notices are provided as required by the relevant licences.

This document governs the Buried Beneath Vault service and should be read together with the other Buried Beneath Vault legal documents. Nothing in these documents excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer or data-protection law.
1. Web application libraries
The Vault web application includes React, TanStack Router/Start and TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI primitives, Lucide icons, Zod and Leaflet, together with their dependencies. These components are distributed under the MIT licence, except Leaflet which is distributed under the BSD 2-Clause licence.
Each component remains © its respective authors. Permission is granted under those licences to use, copy, modify and distribute the software, and the software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
2. Typefaces
Cormorant Garamond (© Catharsis Fonts) and Karla (© Jonathan Pinhorn) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and are served directly from this site rather than from a third-party font network.
3. Platform services
The Vault uses Supabase (authentication, database, storage) and Stripe (payments) as service providers. Their client libraries are distributed under the MIT and Apache 2.0 licences respectively.
